Financial Seminar Backend Training

Module 11 of 12

Create and Test the Seminar Registration QR Code

Connect the final seminar funnel URL to a QR code, test it across devices, and deliver the approved file for the advisor's marketing.

What to show on screen

  • Confirming the seminar funnel uses the approved domain
  • Reviewing and cleaning up funnel page paths
  • Creating, naming, downloading and testing the QR code
  • Verifying the code works on iPhone and Android

The QR code is the bridge between printed marketing and the live registration funnel. A broken or premature code wastes print costs and loses registrations. Build the code only after the funnel URL is final, approved, and tested.

What you'll complete

  • Confirm the seminar funnel uses the approved domain
  • Review and clean up the funnel page paths
  • Create a QR code inside HighLevel
  • Connect the code to the live registration funnel URL
  • Name the QR code clearly for the client and campaign
  • Download the required file format
  • Test the QR code on both iPhone and Android
  • Send the approved QR code to the advisor
  • Confirm the funnel URL will not be changed after launch

Suggested QR code naming format

[Firm Name] — [Seminar or Campaign Name] — [Date]. Example: USA Financial — December Registration. A clear name makes it easy to identify the correct code months later and prevents accidental reuse across campaigns.

Do not create or distribute the QR code until the funnel URL is final

Once the QR code has been placed on postcards, ads, or other public marketing materials, changing the funnel URL can break the registration path and make the printed code unusable. Do not create or distribute the QR code until the funnel URL is final, approved, and tested.

Quality-control reminder: test before delivery

Test the QR code before delivery and confirm that it opens the correct client registration funnel, the page loads properly on mobile, the correct seminar dates are displayed, the registration buttons open the correct forms, it works on both iPhone and Android, and the final URL is clean and approved.
